Chapter 1 Long long ago, in a deep forest, there was a worm-eaten temple which could not attracted any attention of pilgrims. A huge black spider hanging on the window frame absorbed in waving the web; A ray of sunlight shining down through the leak of the roof blended with the aromatic smoke in the air, which made the temple a fairyland. A 13 year-old monk solitarily staying in the wall broken temple which seldom had visitors. Wearing a threadbare frock, the young monk was so satisfied with his life. How's his life? Keeping early hours; Having each three meals invariably with only bean curds, vegeatbles and severl spoons of soup; Carrying two barrels of water with shoulder pole and water his vegeatble garden; Mowing and lopping died branches for firewood. All those tasks could be finished in not more than two hours, and knoking at the "wooden-fish" rhythmed and praying in front of the Buddha by repeating "Amitabha "continusly was the only thing he cared about and it took him all day long. Day after day, the young monk led such a simple life with great satifaction. "Amitabha, Amitabha, Amitabha, Amitabha... ..."Chapter 2 Two years passed, the young monk was still staying in his temple bending himself to praying calmly. One day, a visitor broke the silence. "I'm a traveller, I've travelled all over the world but this forest and finally, I reached here", said the strager in a loud voice which made the spider scared to stopped weaving. "Amitabha. my dear guest, welcome to my temple", said the young monk politely and went on praying without. The strager sitted leaning on the red-pained pillar looking around, shaking his head all the while, saying "Unbelievable!" Lunch time. The young stopped praying and cooked bean curds with radish soup for the visitor. "How come can you stand for this? ", when told the monk had those same food for meals over the past years in every day life, the traveller asked in great surprise," I travelled all around the world, degusted all the dainties, I can stand such kind of food for one meal let alone three males of dog-food without any change for so many years! What drives you be able to endure such a cruel suffering? And look at this place, I can't believe you can stay here without any complaint. Have you ever been to the outside world? Have you ever seen so many beautiful landscapes and different peoples in different dreesses and languages? And have you ever felt how exciting the adventures by the Amazon River or in the Sahara Desert was? No, no, no, don't just pray for nothing, come with me, and enjoy the fantastic travelling life, you should open your eyes and see the magical big big world!" "I'm sorry to say that you are wrong, sir. I'm praying for love and that's what I'm anxious for", replied the young monk, "Amitabha,Amitabha,Amitabha,Amitabha... ..."Chapter 3 Since the traveller left with a sigh, no one had been to the temple for two years and the monk grew up as a strong boy but still led his lonely simple religional life. But one day, a visitor broke the silence. "I'm a merchant, I have a lot of money and I wonder if you can sale the Buddha statue. I will give a great amount of money for you to live wallow in money. It's not important for you but it's very important for me. You know, it's a culture relic which is priceless!", said the stranger. "Amitabha. my dear guest, I'm afraid I can't do that. The saint Buddha is not for sale and I'm not longing for money but love", said the young monk with a humble bow."But why? Why do you always pray? Pray for what? Blessing? Look! You're not blessed, you're suffering poverty and loneliness and what is more, you're suffering of ignorance. You're ignorant about the power of money". The merchant shouted sonorously that the black spider soon scared to be white!"With so much money, one can not buy the true love. And I'm not suffering, in contrary, I'm blessed, for I get love from the Budhha", replied the young monk,"Amitabha,Amitabha,Amitabha,Amitabha... ..."Chapter 4 Since the merchant left with anger, no one had been to the temple for another two years and the monk is 19 years old but he still led his lonely simple religional life. And one day, another visitor broke the silence. Differently from the past several vistors, this time, a fine young girl came into the temple. She was dressed in a white sillk skirt with chiffon, the ray of sun light for the leak roof shone down onto her swarthy hair made her a "whithe snow". The black spider soon stopped weaving and his black face turned red! Without any words, the girl just knelt before the Buddha began to pray. She closed her eyes, put the palms together, mutterring in heavenly-mindedness. "Amitabha, Budhha, Budhha, please bless me that I can find my love, a boy who loves me and give me whole life happiness! I don't care if he is rich, and I don't care what he did in the past, I only care if he really loves me. Of course, I will make him be blessed in the name of love!", said the girl. And suddenly, she turned back to the young monk, exuding tenderness and love through eyes implying for something. The young monk soon blushed then dropped the knocking stick onto the ground unconsciously, he only realized that he had be taken to the girl and he couldn't help it. "And now, I was blessed by the Budhha that I got true love but I have to rebel to marry the gilr, beacause all I wanna is to get love not praying. Maybe it's wrong to reble the Budhha but it's right for me to chose the real human's love."Hence, the young boy was not a monk anymore but a happy man living with his beloved wife.
